questions with David Novak. David, it's great to be with you today. How's it going? It's going well,

Kula, and I'm looking forward to this conversation because we're going to be talking about

the conversation I had with Tom Baltimore. He's the chairman

and CEO of Park Hotels and Resorts. And, you know, I've just gotten to know him recently

because he joined the Comcast Board. And he's one hell of a good leader and a great guy.

It's clear after listening to the interview that Tom is a guy who really pushes himself and he pushes his

own boundaries. He pushes himself to be the best version of himself that he can be. And he does that

for his team as well. And it's why they've been so successful and why I believe people love

working for Tom. And I'm excited to get your take on some of the concepts that you two discussed

Question number one. Tom is a leader who pushes himself. He even talked about how he goes

into the office on Sundays to prepare for the week ahead. And he also sees great value in pushing his team

members past their comfort zones. David, how can a leader strike that balance of pushing their

team members while not creating burnout? Well, that's really interesting because one of the things

that Tom's very public about is how he goes in every Sunday and works.

I mean, that's just part of his ethos.

And he really talks about the importance of hard work and putting the hours in because that's how he moved up and that's how he succeeded.

So it's something that he deeply believes in.

So I think that, first of all, it's great to have a culture where
