questions with David Novak. David, who do we have this week? Well, we have my good friend,

0:14.4

Jay Billis, a great basketball analyst for ESPN. He is a tremendous thought leader in his industry. If you haven't listened

0:23.8

this episode, you've got to. And by the way, it is March Madness. So if there's a time to listen

0:29.0

to a podcast, this is the time. It absolutely is. Jay is so dynamic. The interview, like you said,

0:36.4

is incredible. And I'm excited to get your

0:38.8

take on some of the questions that you asked him in the episode. So with that, let's get rolling.

1:28.8

Be really, really good at your job, okay? I think that's the most important thing. And I like how Jay said,

1:34.8

I never argue with praise. And believe me, because he's so good at what he does, he gets a lot of it.

1:40.8

He says, I never argue with phrase. And if I don't argue with phrase, why should I argue with

1:45.1

criticism? And I just think that's a really healthy perspective. He has the right approach to

1:51.0

handle the negative things that may come your way. You know, the first thing you have to do,

1:56.7

and he says it, is you got to say, is there any merit to what these people have to say about

2:01.7

what they're saying about me? And is it right? And is it reasonable or is it unreasonable? And then
