recruiting a CEO for a company. She said she looks for someone with integrity and authenticity,

someone who is aligned with the value system of the company, and someone who can recognize

their own strengths and weaknesses. Now, David, if you were on

a search committee for a new CEO, what characteristics would be and most important for you to look for?

Well, I certainly agree with all of Diana's observations, and I would just add a couple things.

I would really want the CEO or any leader of any significant business to have what I call

is the uncanny combination of confidence and humility. You know, you've got to be confident.
