Now what I love about our church is how generous our church is.

I mean so many of you are incredibly generous.

Now I know that that's not everybody because I'm sure that there's some people that are

kind of warming up to generosity. Maybe not quite there yet, but I want to believe that you

desire to be generous because don't we all want to be generous even if we are not generous yet?

But with the economy, with inflation, it can seem like maybe it's just not able to be generous yet.

Perhaps if you had a higher income, you'd be able to be generous.

Maybe a bigger bank balance or even a bank balance, you could be generous.

Maybe a little less debt or maybe those of you that have resources,

maybe you're just looking for a little more certainty because right now things seem uncertain.

And you just like to kind of know what things are going to look like.

And once you kind of get that settled out, then perhaps you could be generous.

I completely get it because I've thought all those same things.

But today what I'd like to do is just challenge us.

Maybe God could stretch our faith just a little bit.
