It brings the benefit of a particular kind of friendship, which you can't even get from marriage

in a certain sense.

You know what I mean?

In other words, the way that the human being is put together and the deep sort of spiritual

and existential needs that we have, call out or cry out for a network of different

relationships that fortify various areas of our lives. And even in the Catholic world, all that's

left for a lot of people is just marriage, which is not, I mean, I mean, that's a, that's a graced

right. And so there's something very powerful about it, but all on its own steam without sort of

networks of family and friendship and all of those things.

You know, okay, we're newly married, we're going to go off to Connecticut and make a new life

for ourselves without any roots or connections.

Good luck.

That could work. Right. Yeah. Right. You know. Yep.

You don't realize what you're giving up. That's right. Yeah. Or the danger, which God will help with,

but the danger, if he's calling you, but the danger that that presents. And so it's a great gift. I was saying to David before you came in,

Adam, that I was so moved by meeting the two of you last night, just by the simple fact that

you've been together all your lives. I think that that's a singular grace, very important.
