Summary

It was a Senior Day to remember for the Mountaineer football team.

WVU not only defeated UCF 31-21, but earned bowl eligibility. The final home game included big plays and clean football. West Virginia committed just two penalties and had no turnovers.

The Mountaineers (6-5, 5-3) will close the season Saturday at Texas Tech. The jumbled conference standings have four teams tied for first place and five teams, including West Virginia, tied for second place.
