and dear to our heart, and that is getting rid of all this paper that we have in our lives.

Okay, so why do you want to go paperless?

Because I'm not the best organizer in real life. I tend to have a very messy desktops in terms of the physical desk that I sit at, but for some reason I can be

extremely organized on the computer and I find that if I get all of this stuff off of my desk and into my computer. I can deal with it and

conceptualize it and view it and move it around. That need also identity theft

issues and getting the information secured in the original shredded.

Yeah, I'm a geek and I like putting things on my computer.

Well, that's a good reason.

We used to put all our bills in organization. We'd buy one of those things at Staples every year, a little box that the hanging folders in it and every month I dutifully put my bills where they belonged in at the end of the year I didn't know what to do with them.

And of course by about July we stopped actually putting them in the right places and I

realize I know several years ago that this just doesn't work so I wanted to find

away put it on the computer.

The other nice thing about scanning though is you can back it up in a lot of places.

So once you have your paperwork in your computer you can put it on an external hard drive you can put it on the cloud if you feel comfortable

You can put a copy on a thumb drive and stick it at your Aunt Bessie's house.

So I've got my important paperwork backed up in two or three places,

which is kind of cool because I live across the street from a place that has a lot of wildfires so it's nice
