Now, I have a lot to say about Love Island and there was a point last summer where I truly

considered changing the name of this book to

Feminist Don't Watch Love Island and other lies.

I've never missed an episode and it seems to be one of the pieces of television that manages to

bypass my politics and split my feminist friends right down the middle.

I think I share this feeling with a lot of other women

because a lot of the feminists I know also love Love Island. Danny Dyer is obviously a lot more than

just Love Island. She is an author, an actress, a presenter and this year she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro

with comic relief to raise money for projects fighting poverty across the globe.

I wanted to get Danny on this podcast because I feel like she represents a lot of young women today.
