This is a podcast from comedians comedian.com. This is the Comedians comedian podcast. Hello there and welcome to the comedians comedian podcast. I'm Stuart Goldsmith and this is episode number three in which I'll be talking to Mr Dan and Topolsky

and this is very different to either the ones we've had so far. I mean of course every

comedian is a beautiful unique snowflake and none more so than the comedy

wizard Dan. I think I think of him as a

wizard because he's kind of peculiar and arcane in his comedy in a very

exciting frothy sort of a way.

But at the same time he's very like a magician,

like a stage magician,

in that we're going to be talking a lot about,

not using these terms, but we're going to be talking

about misdirection and how you can lead an audience up the garden path

and get them to look one way while you're secretly changing the meaning of something somewhere else.

So it's a really fascinating chat. I hope you're going to get a lot out of it.

Dan's a lovely man and

will be mentioning the various things. He's up to Edinburgh this year during the show. So I hope
