Welcome back to the spiritual perspective. And this week I'm going to talk about three books that you can use to get started on your spiritual journey. Or if you're already on your spiritual journey, these are three books that will get you excited about all of the interchanges that are going to be coming in the next several months and years. And these are by no means my top

three books. But these are three books that I thought would be helpful for getting into the right

mindset for your spiritual journey and really to extract the most from that journey. And the best

part about these books is that all of them are available to listen to on

YouTube. They all have audio versions that I've seen posted on YouTube. I will put the links to

those books in the description below. And the first two books are considered self-help books.

The last book is more of a fictional story. So I think the fictional book is going to really tie the principles together. So make sure you wait around for that. All right, let's get into it.

The first book that I recommend you check out for your spiritual journey is called Conversations with God by Neil Donald Walsh. I didn't know anything about

the backstory of the book, but apparently there was this guy, I think he was in Oregon,

and his life was crumbling around him. He had been in some sort of accident, and he had this

really bad insurance situation where he owed a lot of money and hospital bills.

And he was just always a day late and a dollar short. And one night he breaks down and he starts

yelling and he starts screaming at God. And then something compels him to pick up a legal

pat and a pen and just start writing answers down that were coming through him. And so he started

asking questions, jotting down the answers. And what he later said was that he felt like he was

channeling some sort of higher intelligence. But he had enough content to put together a manuscript.

And he shared it with some friends. They said, oh, you should definitely make this into a book.

And that's how conversations with God came to being. It literally was a conversation with who he

felt was God. And so these are just basic questions that anybody who's curious about life would

ask. Stuff like, what's the meaning of life? What happens when you die? Are there such thing as aliens? Why do bad things happen to good people? Right? Just basic stuff like that. And then there's these answers from God that are all very practical, very pragmatic, and very wise. So I consider conversations with God to be my gateway spiritual book because it opened me up to a lot of

other paths and a lot of other practices that I previously wasn't very curious about. Even though I had

read other spiritual books like the Celestine Prophecy, at Ishmael and Ramtha. But when I came across conversations with God,
