Normally I'll take a little pride in bringing you 8 to 10 to 12 different topics on a normal episode of KKHI, but we're calling this one

three big things. There will be a couple of secondary things that we mentioned and some things

that we work into the three big things. But three big things happen on Tuesday that are,

on most any other day would simply be the lead of the

podcast. We'd spend the majority of time on any of these three. So we're going to do these

in no real particular order other than what this is just the way I wrote them down. We've got the

Trump announcement. We have Kansas beating Duke without Bill's self in one of the most Bill self-looking games you've ever seen.

And we have an open letter from John Sherman to season ticket members and I guess essentially everyone else in Kansas City that he wants a $2 billion stadium built downtown.

So we're going to start with President Donald Trump, who was very calm, reserved, relaxed, presidential, whatever it may be at the Mara Lago Resort in Florida, where he resides next door.

It is palatial estate in front of obviously donors and friends and people that have been very loyal to him.

He doesn't keep people around that aren't loyal.

And the main thing was not really the fact that he announced. We all knew this was coming.

We didn't know exactly when. And that will get all the headlines. But the main thing to me was there

was no mention of any other Republicans that could potentially be candidates.

He stayed away.

And I think I know what Trump is up to here.

I think Trump is way out in front of everybody else.

I don't think anybody else is going to declare that they're running for president until next year at some point.

Remember, it was June of 2015 that Donald Trump came down the

escalator in New York. So this is a full eight months earlier than that, seven and a half
