Summary

We’re three books into IAD this week, and it is happening! We're joined by the brilliant Adriana Herrera to talk Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night, starring Bowen (the werewolf trapped in a tunnel of fire) and Mariketa the Awaited (the witch who is going to run him ragged)! Adriana, Jen & Sarah cover everything from Snow White to trauma survivors, jungle warfare to May-December romances, sexism and Cardi B. And we still find time to fangirl over Kresley's heroines. Don’t forget to subscribe to the podcast in your favorite podcasting platform — and while you’re there, please leave us a like or a review. Our next read (in two weeks) will be Dark Needs at Night's Edge — complete with a broken hero tied to a bed (vampire, obvi) and a haunting heroine who just wants to be seen (literally). This one makes for a LOT of opinions among IAD fans...you won’t want to miss it. Get ready for the read along at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books or your local indie. Also, the Audible versions of IAD are on sale right now -- and WORTH EVERY PENNY! Listen on Audio!

Romance novels are hard to title because readers have expectations and there are only so many times that you can write Wicked Winter's Warlock. Wicked, Winters, Warlock,

1:04.0

whatever.

1:06.0

Dark.

1:08.0

It's almost like a Magic A-thal made these titles at some point.

1:12.0

It really is. I mean, I got to say, right? I mean, I have some crazy titles, but the reality is that

1:17.2

especially in the mid thousands when Cressley was titling these titles,

1:21.7

titling these books, you know, every book was, you know, dukes and wickedness

1:28.6

and sin. Like, so, um, yeah, it's hard, but then about halfway through this series gets so big that the

1:37.6

titles just become characters names and that's pretty great.
