Florida State had a very good weekend and and now today it is underway. We have started spring football officially practice in the books today for Florida State.

Did my first out-of-state interview today, Tom, for Florida State Spring. Always interested to see the kinds of questions I'm going to get regarding Florida

State football.

It's usually a glimpse, a little bit of a glimpse into the way that we're perceived from

others who cover college football, watch and love college football.

So, you know, there's a curiosity at the timing of Gus's departure

and whether that's going to cause any problems.

I said, if anything, it was probably celebrated within the building.

I think probably a little bit, maybe a little bit of a celebration from the head coach

who takes back over, play calling.

I think Mike does too, so a relationship that is less contentious or acrimonious.

And I thought the one thing Mike said last week when he was talking about that situation,

Gus and I are different.
