His comments were so consistent with this racist distraction, this fear

mongering that others, newcomers, outsiders are making our country less safe.

All right, all right, the first refuge of scandals of, of, of, I'm sorry, I'm

trying to read and talk at the same time. It's the first refuge of scoundrels now,

the false accusation racism when you try to do anything about rampant, uncontrolled

illegal immigration. It's just ridiculous. It's a non-argument. I'm trying to be

consistent in my own mind because I completely understood Arizona trying to do

something about illegal immigration when the federal government was not doing

anything. And it's fine with them saying, all right, you've decided this isn't

your Bayley Wicke? I guess we'll do it now. Even though I knew it, constitutionally

wouldn't work. Does, does Jerry Brown have an argument that the federal government

that they, they haven't dealt with immigration all these years? We clearly

send all the signs that you're welcome here. Let's discuss the legal, the ethical

and the practical, because that's an excellent question with Congressman Tom McClendonk

of the fourth congressional district of California. Congressman, how are you, sir?

against Arizona by the Obama administration when they tried to do something

about illegal immigration and how it compares in contrast to the California suit.

That's a very good point. Arizona was trying to assist in the enforcement

of existing federal law and the Supreme Court ruled you can't even do that

under the supremacy clause of what California is doing is fundamentally different.
