jersey troop teamed up with a local weed dispensary uh to sell their beloved cookies there's a picture

too uh outside the daylight dispensary in mount Laurel last month, the troops booth offered a full

lineup of treats.

Dispensary owner, Steve Cassie said the partnership was a massive success.

It drew people from both to the booth and to the cannabis shop.

Of course, the Girl Scouts America are pissed.

It's all about community, Cassidy, told the independent, but that means the local

Girl Scout troop got in trouble. This is absolutely not what we wanted. And I love this line further on. He has to explain this, you know. The daylight dispensary in Mount Laurel, New Jersey says the township's first dispensary opened there in 2023. Is that recreational? Yes, Jersey is recreational. Yes, Jersey have recreational weed. Yeah,, they do. They do. They bought some. This is genius. Yeah. And the idea to partner with the local Girl Scout troop came to Cassidy, linked with the food with the munchies. There's a connection between snacks snacks and cannabis and the fact that we don't have to pretend that doesn't exist anymore is really

awesome right it's a legal thing and Girl Scout cookies are good sober can imagine being high well we

probably all ate these before high you know you go through a sleeve like that, you know, the peanut butter one.

So they did not recognize the genius of this and probably sold more cookies as a result.

You could also see whether Girl Scouts might not want to be associated with drugs. Well, alcohol. It's legal weed. It's still legal, but if they were like inside a bar, they might not like that either. No, no, they're not inside. They're not inside. They're right outside the dispensure. They're right outside of the bar. I can see why they might not like it. It is what they call in the business a co-op. That's a little cooperative effort. Yeah. Let's find all the weed heads and give them their money back. So I drank another one of those drinks last night because I don't want to drink alcohol.
