Man I want to start with that now go back to the Knowles here in a second but what a great day yesterday thanks to everybody who came out to the corner pocket bar and grill ran into several of you more were coming in as I had to go but I tell you what I

Really appreciate that was a good time just being around folks who like baseball and you know the Vegas wall the gazillion television they have a corner pocket bar and grill it's perfectly suited for those hot dogs were delicious they were delicious

I said to bill what what you do like hot dogs can only be so good they're hot dogs but they were delicious perfect they've had some good ones over the years opening day has been a nearly 10 year tradition

It's a corner pocket for us and these were by far the best hot dogs they've had I mean they were outstanding you know sometimes when you're trying to figure out a problem

And there are a lot of different options a lot of solutions and you're not sure like okay we should we go all in on this one I like this one the best but I'm worried that the unintended consequences are going to be too big in this regard and you know this other way we may have it you

solving the problem at all this could be half measures I'm not sure

Well baseball kind of confronted that this off season in a way that everybody wondered you know how would it work you're gonna you're gonna go ahead and institute this now you're gonna do this thing

We're gonna see it in the spring training and it's gonna be a nightmare for the first week and and the players were pissed and everybody was all this is gonna be a nightmare

Look at this we got games being won and lost because of a violation of the pitch clock or the bad or not being ready and all this and then in baseball kept saying well settle down settle down

The spring training games don't count don't worry about it we'll get it worked out we'll figure out the right formula but baseball usually kind of screws it up

They got to pick the wrong option to remedy the problem but they got it 100% right this is great for us as consumers

It's just the amount of time necessary to enjoy the leisurely game of baseball you don't want to lose that you don't want it to become phonetic you want this to be a leisurely game

And it is you still can talk to your buddy you still have time to comment it's 15 seconds between pitches with nobody on base 20 when they're on base it's perfect that makes a big difference the 20 the 20 is a nice amount of breathing room for those

situations and then the foul balls obviously you're afforded a couple extra seconds before they start the clock it's just every little nuance of it seems to be perfectly time it I was blown away there's so many things that it's not just the minutes shaved
