All right, more dumb criminal stuff out of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Lincoln man accused of embezzling more than $6,000 from a pizza hut was arrested on Wednesday.

He was a delivery driver.

Lincoln police officers were called to a pizza hut near West A Street and Coddington Avenue at 515 on the report of an ex-employee stealing funds.

According to the Lincoln Police Department, the manager had conducted an audit on delivery drivers

and determined 3-year-old Abel Zamora of Lincoln had 155 orders logged in as undeliverable.

He showed up, nobody, if he showed up at a pizza place, and somebody's not there,

that probably happens to some colleges and stuff like, yeah.

But he did 155 of them from July of 2024 to March of 2026.

So did he deliver the pizzas?

He kept the cash. Yeah, and then just kept the money. But he wrote back on deliverable. But that's a good point. What did he? I guess he did when he showed back out, he just logged it in and didn't think anything anything else. Yeah, well, don't you pay for it on? We had pizza delivered the other day from Domino's and we just paid for it online. I don't know. Well, I'm guessing Todd, you're in a college town. There's still kids and people showing up with cash in hand. I suppose. Multiple customers had confirmed that they did receive their pizza and paid in cash. The amount is tolling is $6,271. Dumb criminal. He was taken into Lexington County Jail and suspicion of theft and consolidated defenses of over $5,000. I had 12 undeliverable pizzas last night. But doesn't somebody ask questions when you say, hey, it was undeliverable, but I showed back up and don't have a pizza? I don't, I think this probably just, I'm sure it just logs it in.
