I alluded the other day to the possibility that we are headed towards a recession in the

United States.

And the reality is nobody really knows if we are headed towards a recession.

There are a number of warning lights flashing that the economy here and in many other places

in the world is absolutely headed in a slowdown.

But there's a difference between a slowdown and having sluggish growth versus having

a recession, which is where economic activity actually declines.

The number of people working declines.

And I am unconvinced at this time just based on everything I read, whether the economist

being worried about a recession is in fact a reality.

So let me tell you what I do see.
