and a very appropriate day to have Tom in because the news just breaking now that Don Lucia is stepping down as the gopher hockey coach.

We'll talk plenty more about that throughout the remainder of this show.

But joining us now is a hockey coach who just had some phenomenal success.

Former gopher goalie Rob Stobber, who coached the U.S. women's hockey team to gold a few weeks back.

what have the past few weeks since this success been like for you, just as far as traveling

around the Acoids and all of that good stuff? Well, thanks for having me. To be perfectly

honest about it, as a coaching staff, we really stayed in the background.

The players have done a great job representing the team and what they accomplished.

And, you know, I can just tell you that as a staff and myself, we're just so happy for the players.

So many of those players, at least 10 of them, to be exact,

we're on the 14 team that lost.

And I'm just so happy for, you know, not only them,

but the entire team that they have a different experience.

And they know what it's like to be on the other side

and obviously winning that gold medal.
