I'm Stuart Mandel, joined as always by Bruce Feldman. It is the Monday after selection Sunday and Bruce we know people aren't listening to the audible to hear our here who we have winning the NCAA tournament to hear our bracket picks. We also wanted to acknowledge that might be overshadowing college football a little

bit this week. Yeah, and I think there's a lot of crossover and who better for us to dig into

some big picture stuff related to college athletics and basketball and how it fits in with the

football world as well. Then our friend from the AP Ralph Rusau. Thanks for joining us again, Ralph.

Hello, gentlemen. How are you today? We are doing great.

Stu, are you disappointed that you didn't get a chance to have a real-time reaction to the

women's tournament bracket? I was all said. I had a viewing party set up, and then somebody at ESPN ruined it for me and leaked the bracket.

I will say this that there are probably paint being peeled off the walls up in Bristol right now, though with that mistake.

I imagine that there are some unfortunate graphics guys getting into a lot of trouble.

Yeah, because they pay money to show that, and I'm sure their advertisers pay with the expectation

that there will be suspense to the announcement.

So first the men's bracket got leaked a few years ago online.

This one, though, pretty unique that the TV network that has the show

you imagine if CBS accidentally put the men's bracket on like during the second half of the

big 10 tournament wasn't there a few years ago where the CFP rankings came out were put out

there a little bit early. Hmm.

I thought ESPN had had a little glitch in something that got founted up, maybe a couple hours before their show, if I'm not mistaken.

That doesn't sound familiar. Maybe back in the BCS days, you know, you maybe going. The only leak I remember is the year
