Fun to be at today's luncheon, and of course, that signifies, as we all know, the start of spring football, which is exciting to me. I think for a lot of other people, too, it's just you can sense that they're very excited about the fact that the competition is going to be pretty intense, especially within a couple position groups that secondary in particular. Tom, by the way,

funny stat, the first day of spring football means that we end up hyper focusing on spring

football, but of course, as a multi-sports show, we care about the NCAA tournament, we care about the start of Major League Baseball, we care about a lot of things. Funny little stat, did you know that NC State, I'll just get this out there because I'm going to forget to do it otherwise, and I think it's funny. NC State was 100 to 1 to win the ACC tournament.

That's a double-digit seed.

So you could have sprinkled a little pizza money on 100-to-1 to watch NC State win five games and five days.

Five games and five days.

Why do I bring it up?

That's more wins at the Capital One Arena in D.C.

than the Wizards have since April of last year.

NC State won more games in one week than the Wizards have in the same arena since April of last year.

Yeah, it's March. It's March right now. We're talking about a calendar year's worth of time.

Sweet. Jesus. I was hoping for one magical week in Washington, D.C. I just thought it would be for us.

No, not at all. Rather amazing. And the committee screwed it up again in a lot of ways. We'll get into it this week.
