Well, it should be a national holiday. It is the Thursday in which the NCAA tournament tips off you me. Everybody else out there in the outkick audience.

All ecstatic about an opportunity to sit around and see what's going to happen with today's games tons of them. I am alive right now from Las Vegas where it is going to be incredible as it always is.

And I am ecstatic to be out here if you haven't spent any time in Las Vegas for the NCAA tournament. It is way way way up on the sports bucket list. I am fortunate. I get to I think I have the best job in America.

I get to travel around and go to a lot of different sporting events and I got to tell you if I had a choice for instance right now between going to the Super Bowl or going to the Vegas for the March madness opening rounds of the tournament.

I would pick Vegas. I think Vegas is more fun. Now look the Super Bowl is outstanding and I'm not saying if your favorite team is in the Super Bowl. It wouldn't be incredible to go to. But when you think about sports bucket list items.

I think that Vegas for March madness is almost impossible to be especially if you're there with a couple of buddies. Somebody who also likes college basketball especially if you like to gamble.

And I love to gamble in the final hour of this show we're going to give you a lot of my different picks for this opening round of the tournament. What I do and have done for the last several years.

So if you don't know my history in Vegas a couple of years ago we made history with FS one my guy Todd Furman and I did a show with Carissa Thompson live from a Las Vegas casino.

And the first time that a major American sports network had gone live from inside a Vegas casino. We had to go through all these different hoops and and figure out all the different bells and whistles attributed with that. But in 2014 we went live from the Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas. It was incredible. It was fantastic.

And I think as part of that years going live I started something that I would encourage you to do if you ever get to go to Vegas. That is I bet on every first round game. Now you're professional out there who's going to tell you oh I only bet three or four games. There's only value to be had there. That's fine. I do it for fun. I like to gamble for fun.

So I bet all 32 games the first year that I was out there in Vegas doing television 2014. And then I also did every second round game.

Bet a hundred bucks on each game. That means total I was wagering $4800. Now it sounds like a lot of money. But remember you're rotating through that money and it's hard to win a lot or lose a lot.

You would have to be a total disaster to lose much more than 40% of the time. I mean 60% of the time you could win at worst. I think about 40% of the time. And at best you could win about 60% of the time.

So you're going to typically if you bet that many games win a little bit of money or lose a little bit of money. That first year in 14 I won a little bit of money. I did it again in 15. I did it again in 16.

And now I'm going to do it again in 17. So in the final hour of this show we will rapidly run through. I will give you all of my picks for the NCAA tournament, including the immortal, the beloved the always under ranked blood bank guarantee.

No, absolutely not. Where's it right? Yeah, where would it rank for you? Pretty high on the sports bucket list for sure. I want to go to Augusta during the Masters. I've gone to golf tournaments and I'm such a huge PG a fan. The US opens pretty much my favorite event in sports other than the Masters. So those two but outside of that going to Vegas for the first weekend of the NCAA tournament would definitely be really high on the list.
