Today we're talking about season 3 episode 14. It's called Heartsfield's Landing.

It was written by Aaron Sorkin. It was directed by Vincent Messiano and at first aired on

the 27th of February in the year 2002.

Here's a little synopsis. In this episode it's the night before the New Hampshire

primary. The president returns from India with some chess sets and he plays a game against

Sam and won chess game against Toby while playing a real-world chess game with China

over war games that China is conducting in response to Taiwanese elections.

Josh and Donna are trying to convince a family in Heartsfield's Landing to vote for the

president and see Dan Charlie get into a prank war.

That sounds like the episode I watched.

Heartsfield's Landing is the name of the place where the first New Hampshire primary

takes place and it's named, well it's kind of a fictional version of two real places

in New Hampshire. Dixville notch and Hearts location.

It's 42 votes.

That are cast at 1201 and counted at 1207. The rest of New Hampshire doesn't come in until

9pm. That's 21 hours of the news. Having nothing to report but the winner in Heartsfield's
