Good morning my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. You know I find

myself just out of habit saying good morning because it's morning for me when I

record these messages but it may not be mourning for you.

Whatever time you're listening, welcome.

I'm glad you're here.

And I hope that you're using these mourning mindsets to help you align your mind with the truth of God because that's why I record

these.

I honestly care about your spiritual well-being.

Why would a stranger care about your spiritual well-being. Now why would a stranger care about your spiritual well-being? Well, for the same

reason we care about that child that we see on the television screen who's starving. The same

reason we care about the person who's in the car accident that we see on the side of the road

It's because number one you're a fellow human being but more importantly than that you are a brother or sister in Christ we are part of the same family in a very

literal sense.

Our faith in Jesus Christ, believing him to be the son of God born in human flesh, come to the earth to live a perfect life and to give it as a ransom, as a

propitiation, as an atonement for you and for me. He is our Savior. We have all placed our

faith in him and that is what makes us brothers and sisters and that's why I care so deeply about your growth.

I want you to be growing in that faith and Peter wraps up his second letter to

his recipients here in 2

2 Peter chapter 3 with a very simple statement of what that should look like for

you and for me.

He says, but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior

Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. That's how Peter wraps up
