What's going on, fam? Welcome to episode 2998. Today is Ask Papa Swoleo. I sent out a swole text to members to ask me anything. So let's get into some of those questions.

0:13.0

The first one is going to be from Lacey. And Lacey asks Papa Swolo, did training and discipline come naturally to you?

0:22.8

So many people, quote, fall off. Some used to, or some kind of a typo.

0:29.5

But it's no longer a struggle. I've never fallen off training. I have fallen off from nutrition.

0:35.5

So the answer to this is, I don't really know how to answer this. The answer is yes,

0:40.1

because what progress are you going to get from doing something intermittently? It did come naturally

0:46.6

in the sense that I followed principles from professional bodybuilders, from what I've seen

0:52.2

from people that have been and were currently successful

0:55.9

and it's really about mindset it's about executing and doing it when you don't feel like it's

1:01.2

staying to a program staying on a pattern you're not going to make progress with anything if you're

1:05.3

not consistent and you're not dedicated you're not disciplined so to be honest it never really

1:10.7

factored in

1:11.6

that I would just do it randomly and expect amazing results. And that's the problem with so many

1:16.9

things in our society today is people expect outstanding results from putting in sub

1:21.8

100% effort. You know, even if you put in 100% effort, there's no guarantee that that effort is going to

1:28.6

bear fruit. So you have to make sure that not only are you relentlessly consistent, but you're

1:33.3

consistent in your pursuit of adapting and adjusting in order to make sure that that progress

1:39.2

is there. Just because you are consistent and disciplined does not mean that you are guaranteed results.

1:46.6

I think this is one of the most important things that people forget is that just because you're

1:50.8

consistent and discipline doesn't mean that you are guaranteed or that you deserve results.

1:55.8

A lot of people go to the fucking gym, but they don't do the right things. They're not consistent

1:59.9

with their seven pillars. They're not consistent with their nutrition. So I always say, and I have evidence online, I haven't always been perfect with my nutrition. I don't even know what perfect is even now. And I'm sure, even on the day to day, I might not eat enough calories or I might not X, Y, and Z, but I'm eating the right foods and I'm always trying
