I think CHAPGPT stops at collecting data at 2021, I think,

0:04.4

but if it carries on updating the data,

0:06.6

it's going to be collecting its own data.

0:08.3

It's going to be like...

0:09.2

It's going to be a feedback.

0:10.4

That's the really...

0:12.2

That's really the biggest thing that I'm seeing

0:14.2

is that if you project AI very long term,

0:16.8

it's going to be diminishing...

0:19.4

It'll be diminishing returns and a kind of, you know,

0:23.1

when people talk about like singularity and like AI, you know, exploding and becoming, I don't see,

0:28.9

I don't see how that's possible because it has no relevance. It has no desires. And so all it can

0:33.5

ultimately be is a kind of spinning back onto itself with maybe with a long arc,

0:38.7

but on that long arc, you're looking at a kind of leveling, you know, a kind of intelligence

0:43.6

leveling. I don't see, I can't see otherwise. This is Jonathan Pajot. Welcome to the symbolic world. So hello, everyone. I'm here with Paula Bortington. Those of you who've watched my channel

1:17.4

have seen us talk on several subjects. She is an ethicist. She's also teachers in different

1:23.0

institutions. And she's been thinking a lot about, you know, the relationship between

1:28.9

biology and ethics, but also technology and ethics. And so it seems like, you know, this is the

1:33.5

perfect time to talk about it with the arising of AI and also the kind of madness around self-identification.

1:39.8

All of this is kind of happening all at the same time. And so, Paula, thanks for talking to me again.

1:45.8

Oh, really great to talk to you. The main problem is trying to focus on something where it doesn't

1:50.5

just go on over the place because everything is so interconnected. Yeah. Well, I'd like to know a little
