In late 2019, Kay Woodcock called local police

and asked them to perform a welfare check

on her seven-year-old grandson, J.J. Valo.

She hadn't seen him in almost two months

and couldn't get in touch with his mother or his older sister.

As investigators began to look into where J.J. was, they found that his 16-year-old sister, Tyley Ryan, was also missing.

Their mother, Lori Valo, claimed that they were safe and happy, but refused to tell anyone where they were.

Detectives continued to dig into the Valo family and found a sickening story of extreme religion, demons, zombies, and murder.
