Hey everyone welcome back to the podcast today Katie and I are going to be talking about some of the worst mistakes we have made as parents and how that is pretty discouraging to

acknowledge and to realize in your own life but at the the same time, we need to learn from our lessons.

So we're trying to do that.

And we're going to share with you

how we are implementing those lessons learned in our lives.

With all that said I think we're gonna I think we're gonna get this thing going. So in Elisha,

and Elisha brought up this podcast.

So in Elisha brought up this podcast title,

I was like, I don't think I want to talk about our worst parenting mistakes because I do think that for whatever reason like talking about mistakes in general

obviously there's some vulnerability there but it's kind of like okay I don't know I'm pretty comfortable

sharing most mistakes but when it comes to parenting it just hits really

close to home for some reason I just feel like those are things that are I like

genuine regrets I have and our kids are very young still. Our oldest is only

seven years old and so we have many years to go many mistakes to make and the

Lord's faithful through that but I feel like yeah I just I want to do right by

our children they're the biggest gift that the Lord's given to us or the biggest

responsibility. And so when I feel like I haven't done right by them, it bumps me out. But like Elisha said that is how we grow. It's by acknowledging

things like this and being able to move forward.

Yeah, and I mean it just goes to show the how making mistakes in this area it hits differently.
