Hey, Mormon Stories listeners. This is John DeLin. I'll make this really quick. We really need your help.

Over the past several months, we've tried to deliver you a ton of really high-quality interviews,

tarot divins, Michael Quinn, Michael Koge, Joanna Brooks, Daniel Peterson, Greg Prince,

a bunch of other really cool interviews. And for some strange reason, in spite of

all that content, plus the regional conferences, plus the Facebook communities, and all the local

communities, we've actually seen a decrease in financial contributions. That wouldn't be a big deal,

but because of this decrease, it puts us in a tough position. The money you give to Mormon stories

goes to some very basic things, web hosting fees, domain names, audio equipment, conference costs,

we lose money on our conferences, and really food and health insurance for my family.

The total amount of revenue we get from Mormon stories is actually quite small,

relative to what I could be making, doing other things, etc. But it is enough to sort of keep me

afloat financially while I'm in grad school. So it's kind of bizarre that the revenues actually dropped.

When I've asked people why they've dropped, there's usually two reasons. Either they've fallen on

financial hard times and they've need to cut back, or they've just kind of moved on for Mormonism

and have lost interest. I guess this is a plea. If you're in a financial position to help out,

the regional support communities, or the conferences, or if you've benefited in the past,

and you just look at this as an opportunity to pay it forward to other people that you think
