Her latest album, Give the Drummer Some, is now available. Cindy spoke to me in October from Hawaii.

How have you been during COVID?

I've been really good.

You know, apart from, well, let me back that up a little bit.

Apart from seeing so many people who have been disparaged displaced and just you know depressed by this whole situation apart from seeing

that i personally have been doing quite well i got a lot done in this period we were uh at the time, the last seven months, we've been in Kauai.

And of course, between being so remote and also the lockdowns and not having a team,

I had to learn how to do a lot of stuff by myself on my own. So I learned how to record

guitar. I learned how to record my vocals. Guitar was very easy because, you know, that was just a
