0:40.0	there killing at random. And what did he do to you? He entered the bedroom. We argued briefly.
0:46.0	He leaned over and shot me through the face. When I fell back onto the bed, my husband sat up,
0:52.0	and then shot my husband in the side of the head. We both fell back on the bed and we had a bit of a conversation
0:59.0	between each other. We thought perhaps it was someone playing a sick joke. We couldn't believe the magnitude of what was happening to us.
1:05.0	Then we became aware that he was standing there laughing. Later on in testimony he would tell people from his jail cell that
1:13.0	he liked to watch people wiggle like little worms before they expired after he had shot them.
1:19.0	I was very fortunate that my husband found the strength and the courage to jump up and chase him out of the house.
1:49.0	In 1985, Los Angeles would be terrorized by a series of brutal rapes and murders.
1:56.0	The panic had swept the county. I was enormous. People didn't know if they were going to live to see the next morning.
2:04.0	Men, women, the elderly and children were all in the sadistic killer's sights.
2:11.0	Their final hours were at the hands of someone who was laughing as he tortured and raped and killed them.
2:17.0	A serial murderer who broke all the rules. The suspect is used. Guns, knives, tyrants. I knew how vicious and violent he really was.
