Hello heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot.

I'm James Damato, your host in Game Master.

This week we are continuing our month of romantic games

with The Good Society.

A Jane Austin inspired RPG designed by Haley Gordon and V Hendro.

The Good Society helps break down characters in Regency romances into easy to understand motivations, relationships, and backgrounds,

with simple mechanics that encourage players to get stuck in big messy webs of desire, duty, and expectation.

It's designed for play sessions that are a little bit longer than what we normally do on one shot.

But using their farce play set, I think we got great mileage out of this game.

If you're a fan of Austin, the Bronte sisters, or even Oscar Wilde,

I definitely recommend checking out this game.
