Happy New Year guys, so Tyler's birthday is today. I don't know if he wants me to say this, but I'm going to. It's January 2nd and I'm recording a

podcast solo today because Tyler is out celebrating his birthday. He's becoming an old man and he knows that. So yeah, it's going to be me today. I have Omar and Jordan from Omar Gandhi architects out of Nova Scotia and if you haven't already followed them, you should.

They design some epic stuff.

And we talk everything about the process

in which their architecture unfolds, the story behind design.

We talk about AI and how that's potentially disrupting the industry,

how it can be leveraged in the industry.

And then we also talk about the relationship

between builder and architect and some of the downfalls

and the things that we as builders, myself included,

can do better to be a better partner.

And one of the things that I found really interesting, you know, is the relationship

between builder and architect in terms of like you know chasing

architect work and I think that oftentimes we or myself I chase some of these

architects that are have been established for 40, 50 years because they are doing the really cool projects and we talk about it where it's really difficult to get in with that architect.

It's, you know. It's challenging.

They have their list of 15 builders

that they work with.

And to get a project with them can be challenging.

Where what Omar was talking about is working alongside someone that's at the same pace as you,

you know, on five years in business, work with an architect

that's five years in business.
