podcast. Today's episode is a little bit different in that I'm not dealing with a specific person

within the independent fundamental Baptist world. But I am covering a topic that we

discuss often on the show, which is sexual abuse. And the reason that

today's topic came up specifically, which is the topic of sexual abuse in relation to male

victims, is because I came across a clip posted to Instagram from 2012. And the clip is obviously fairly old at this point, but it's new to me.

And I want to talk about it. So the clip was posted to an Instagram account I'll link to in the

show notes of this episode. But I'm going to play the clip for you here as well. And it features a popular

porn star named Asa Akira, who actually became

Pornhub's ambassador, and she became the host of the Pornhub podcast back in 2018. This

clip is actually from her original podcast called DVD Asa, which she co-hosted with actor and

artist David Cho, which you may recognize from

shows like Beef on Netflix, which was pretty popular in the last year or so. So in the clip,

Asa and Cho and several guests or co-hosts are discussing a situation of statutory rape.

They're mentioning a specific 13-year-old boy, and the clip kind of

kicks off with them talking about statutory rape, and then also really floating the idea of

if she had sex with a 13-year-old, this specific 13-year-old they're discussing. Would that be
