Summary
I didn't think I could do an episode this week, but then I felt moved to share something with you. So I pushed through, and I'm glad I did! In this episode I give you a reality check about your fears. We also talk about:
-- the weekly update about how cancer treatments are going
-- why Catholics are no longer leaders in the arts
-- why extreme low self esteem can look like narcissism
The quote from Marion Fernandez Cueto, told to her by a priest, is: "The Catholic Church is clear about what constitutes sin: Every failure to love. But the positive, the Church leaves wide open. God wants us to be free to use all our intelligence and our gifts to follow where he's calling us. The Church should be the place of the greatest possible experience of true freedom."

| 0:00.0 | Uh-oh. Uh-oh. God gave me another word for you guys. God convicted me while I was sitting in a St. Jude waiting room. And now I'm on fire again. And I would have skipped this podcast episode because |
| 0:21.6 | I'm drowning. I'm, I'm so overwhelmed. As it turns out, living in between two cities is |
| 0:29.4 | not easy. As I had, I was a little overconfident on how that was going to be. I would have said that because I have already lived |
| 0:43.5 | a thousand lives in this particular day alone that we are heading into the podcast, I would have |
| 0:50.8 | said, why don't I practice some self-care and just tell the good people |
| 0:55.8 | of the Jen Fullweiler show, just tell my village people who listen. I can't do it this week |
| 1:01.5 | because I need prayers, not new podcast episodes. But God was like, nay, nay. He convicted me |
| 1:09.6 | about something that I just, I felt like I need to tell you now. |
| 1:12.8 | And it's similar to the last time he did this. It's a similar message. So, and it's a little |
| 1:21.6 | heavy. It's a little heavy, but I live at St. Jude's half the time. Okay, I live at a children's |
| 1:26.3 | cancer hospital. So if you want |
| 1:28.8 | a podcast that is light topics, you have all the other podcasts by stand-up comedians that exist |
| 1:38.6 | in the world. And I, and I love them. Many of my comedian friends have podcasts. And I, you know, I mean, |
| 1:45.9 | I got a fair amount of the way into an episode where they were talking about what they |
| 1:52.5 | ate for lunch, what they generally like to eat for lunch, and how it impacted their varying |
| 1:58.9 | rates of flatulence and their bowel movements and when they like to |
| 2:03.9 | take those bowel movements. And there was some great just texture description there. And |
| 2:10.2 | that episode, I actually calculated, it gets, I think it's 15x the number of views that this podcast gets. |
| 2:21.4 | So just so you guys know, one day I'm going to sell out, and that's going to be this podcast. |
| 2:28.1 | It's going to be fart jokes and it's going to be food, maybe sex. |
| 2:33.0 | I mean, that people love hearing. |
| 2:34.8 | I mean, my, you know, my husband would. |
