months ago in July 2023 and last week I spent an hour

flying this fun new aircraft.

Now let's talk about the Diamond DA50 RG.

If it sounds familiar to you, it might be because Diamond has been working on different configurations of the DA50 for over 10 years.

If you go on Wikipedia.org, you can find a history of the different models that were proposed with various engines.

But to my knowledge, none of these earlier versions were ever certified or shipped, at least not in the U.S.

The version I flew was certificated in the U.S. in July 2023 as the diamond DA50C.

However, it has retractable landing gear, so it's typically referred to as the DA50 RG. And no, it doesn't
