mention at least that I'm recording this the same week someone attempted to assassinate a former president of the

United States which is also the same week a computer glitch grounded air travel all across the planet and affected everything

from transactions and banks to surgeries and hospitals to 911 systems for police and the live broadcasts at local news

stations attempting to cover all of these things. It's the same week that the current president of the United States came down with COVID and then

announced he would not be running for re-election while the opposition party a few days earlier held a political

convention where professional wrestler from the 80s Hulk Hogan ripped off his

shirt as he introduced that party's candidate, the former president

who, as I just mentioned, was shot at a political rally, where a bullet that missed him hit and killed a supporter who is

standing behind him. And those are just a few of the stories that appeared all across social media and mainstream news and in our text messages back and forth with family and friends.
