I'm Waioli, and you are listening to Sex Stories, a podcast where we learn how to woo ourselves and our lovers by sharing details of our experiences of love and making love in the name of mutual satisfaction and pleasure, so we can create lives we love and co-create a world

where taking care of each other is the norm. Sweet friends, it was six years ago today that I launched

this podcast, and I am finally brave enough to do something that I have thought about doing

every New Year's Eve since the

inception of this show. I'm going back to my very first episode where I interview myself,

and I'm updating it. And I want to emphasize here, this podcast is not one that you need to listen

to chronologically. In fact, I personally would prefer

if you listened to the most recent episodes and then worked your way backwards, especially

if you would like to interact with me in real time, in any way, shape, or form. So part of this

episode will be me answering the newer questions that I did not think to ask back in 2018. And part of it will be

my own director's cut with commentary from the almost 2025 me reflecting on the 2018 me because I

never could have imagined all of the ways that I could have changed in the truly short time

that is six years. It's a shorty-longy time. I've been thinking about time a lot. There's fasty,

slowy time, shorty-longy time, like, it all stretches out and it all goes by so fast somehow

simultaneously. Time's not linear. Quantum physics, et cetera. But my hope in sharing these

reflections is not only to update you on the current me,

but also to encourage your own, our own collective, ongoing self-reflection.

We are humans, I assume, if you're listening to this, you are a human, or if you are an animal

and have consciousness and I just don't know how to speak your language yet.
