Well I am extremely excited to have Penny Wilson and Greg King back again.

A few weeks ago they were my guests and we explored the infamous Leopold and Loeb case.

They are back to talk about a subject they have spent decades researching and writing about Anastasia.

The Grand Duchess, who many believed, escaped the massacre of the Romanov family in 1918 Russia.

The book I read in preparation for this interview is called The Resurrection of the Romanov's.

Anastasia, Anna Anderson, and the world's greatest royal mystery.

Yeah so it's been over 20 years right?

That you've been studying the Romanov family and the claims made by this very interesting woman, Anna Anderson.

Oh I would say for both of us and for many many many other people who love Russian Imperial and Romanov history.

This started with the movie Nicholas in Alexandra.

That was based on a book by Bob Massey and really it brought the Romanov's from 1918 into the 1970s.

And it was a great movie at the time.

It's still a great movie today and it was an introduction for most people to what happened to the Romanov family.

I remember myself, I can still remember today sitting on the sofa back then in our family room and just being absolutely stunned into silence by that final scene.
