0:00.0 | Today I'm going to talk about one of my favorite things to talk about, which is |
0:06.7 | impermanence. Now I've talked about it before, but I'm going to talk about what applies to the different areas |
0:20.3 | of our lives, you know, in ways that it creates suffering. So of course impermanence, if you are not familiar, |
0:30.7 | is a concept in Buddhism that essentially notes that everything is always in a state of decay, that it's not permanent, impermanence. |
0:49.2 | The idea there is to recognize that all things are changing all the time. |

2:17.2 | You'll generally be frustrated, you may say something, make some comments to the person there, you may be kind of angry, and then |
2:29.2 | if you begrudgingly order something else, even though it's delicious, you won't be able to enjoy it for what |
2:36.7 | it is, which actually, since we're talking in this realm right here, I would say that this is really a good analogy for the true nature of reality, |
2:49.2 | reaching and connecting to what is ultimately true and staying present with that and how beautiful it is, right? |
2:58.0 | So the true nature of reality in this |
3:04.4 | espresso, |
3:05.1 | the espresso, they don't have it, |
