I know it's true, but kind of one of those topics we don't talk about very often, but

I have traveled and spoke for many years and I've been on staff for many years.

I'm a mom and a wife and I run an organization for those of you that follow my life a little

But I have found early on, I mean I can think about this even when I was 17, 18, 19 when

I was traveling and then into my late 20s, I remember this huge let down after we did

something and I don't know if it's connected to all the anxiety and all the prep, but ultimately

the Monday blues are very real.

I would sit in meetings with different leaders and they would explain what they did on a Monday,

usually they would go out and play golf or they would go to the movies or they would go

exercise.

They would find something to do and me being a mom, it just seemed, well it seemed luxurious

because I had to go back to being mom, which was most of the time laundry dishes, you know,

the ramseyeck house that it took for me to pull off what I had just done.

So it was something I didn't really get used to doing for many years and I think I've

paid the price.
