Hello, this is Paul McKenna, and welcome to the positivity podcast.

My objective is to interview the most interesting people in the world,

and in the next 30 minutes, get insights and even discover how it is that they do what they do,

what makes them unique and fascinating, their success

mindset, and certainly what keeps them positive.

My guest today is a singer-songwriter, producer, model, TV personality and author, who rose

to worldwide fame in the 1990s as a member of the pop group The Spice Girls, selling 85 million records worldwide,

making them the best-selling female group of all time, and also for appearing on numerous TV

shows such as The X Factor and America's Got Talent. I'm talking today with Mel B.

To be successful, you have to have your ups and downs and you have to go through stuff,

and you have to be able to identify with people, and you have to have your ups and downs and you have to go through stuff and you have to be able to identify with people and you have to be likable, I think, at the end of the day.

I have a good sense of self, which I've always had as a kid. I think that was installed by my mum and my dad.

So I've never questioned too much about, oh, I want to look a bit more like this or, oh, I should be a bit

more like that.

I'm very confident in who I am insider now, and that's really important, I think.

Well, I never do anything by half measures.

I don't.

And as long as it comes from a good place and it's not completely 100% driven by money, then

you know that you're doing your passion and your passion ends up being your work.
