Chinese automaker Omoda. Launching the Omoda 3. It's a compact crossover. It debuts in October,

and we'll get it in the UK. It will offer three power trained options, including electric and

plug-in hybrid. It's got an angular design. The Omoda 3 takes

cues from luxury SUVs, they say, like the Lotus Electra and the Lamborghini Uros.

However, it starts below 30,000 pounds. That's about $40,000 here in the UK. The Omota 3 is 4.4 meters long, which is about 50 milliliters, 50 millimetres or about 2 inches longer than the Omoda 5 SUV. It shares the T1X platform with the Omoda 5, the upcoming Omoda 7, that's a mid-sized SUV, and that large

SUV called the Omoda 9. So they're really aiming at the UK market. We'll see if it takes off.

They're going to invest here and try and convince UK buyers to adopt this new brand from Cherry,

Big Auto Maker. They want to retract a younger audience as well with the

Omoda brand. This presentation highlighting features for the demographic like sci-fi-inspired

dashboard graphics, a Starship Noise Option and compatibility with a Nintendo Switch on the

large central touchscreen.

That must be what all the kids are after these days.

Also introducing a customization option called the official racing pack to do official body wraps as well on the Amoda 3.
