Hello everybody and welcome to the very 289th episode of the Shut Up and Sit Down podcast, a podcast about board games, board games and the people who love board games.

Me and Matt have just had a big egg lunch. Yes, we did. We played a board game. Yeah. We're full of egg. I am full of egg. Now we're a little bit sleepy. I don't know. I'm exactly right. My body is digesting a lot of egg. I think if you gave me a third egg and a third toast, I'd be in that zone right there with you.

But right now, I'm cooking.

I'll tell you what, Tom, we had a fun day yesterday filming and doing stuff. We did. I ate a very light lunch for a banana and a snack. I went home and ate some pasta. And my God, I felt like I was going to fall asleep at 8 o'clock PM. So I get it. I'm being very cautious with my timing of my carbs, but I'm ready for this.

You filmed a chunky video?

I did. A big wide video. I did. Which people will maybe have already watched because of how time works. And if they watch videos on YouTube, because we do have people who tell us all the time that I like the podcast, but I don't watch the videos. Oh yeah, that's fair enough. That's that's fine. You're allowed to do that. You're allowed.

You're allowed. It just unfortunately an angel cries and then dies immediately afterwards.

Oh no. You do that. Every time. It's hardly only only left. On this podcast, we're going to talk

about Phoenix New Horizon, a big old crunchy game about putting down generators and I don't really know what the theme is.

The post-apocalyptic electricians.

Yeah, that kind of thing.

We're going to talk about regicide legacy, a game about killing a royal family over and over again.

And we're going to talk about Zenith, a game of tug of war in space. How will they do that?

There are no gravity there. First up on this podcast, we're going to talk about Phoenix New Horizon.

This is a game from DeVir, and it is a large game. It is a weighty game, but it's not as

nudely and complicated as other Devere games.

No, it's not. I feel like we've sent out into the ether in recent years. Please Devere. You don't

need to keep making the games exponentially more complicated just because they're in bigger boxes.

Yes. And I like to believe that they've heard our play to the Devere gods.

It's like a big game with the complexity of one of their small box games, but maybe a bit more complex than that. I don't know. I feel like it's on a par with something like Red Cathedral. It's a big box, but not as complicated as other big box. Honestly, the box isn't that big. You keep saying it's a big box, but actually, I think for the, for the crunch of the game and the stuff on the table, it's quite a small box relatively.

I believe this is what people would describe as a standard board game size box. I think so. It's a Tigris and Euphrates box. I'm looking around the room and it's the same size as maybe the Rez Arcana box. It's bigger than the Reds Arcana box. Okay, it's a little bigger than a Reza. It's
