It gets very strange, friends, when you work on a show for a long time,

and there are lots of reruns,

and the new episodes take place in different seasons.

Like, the show is Bering Sea Gold, and there's an ice mining season, and there's the summer season.

And the show is basically now in constant production, and it has introduced many millions of people,

or maybe reintroduced them, I should say, to a different part of the Bering Sea.

Deadliest Catch, of course, takes place mostly north of Dutch Harbor.

Bering Sea Gold takes place off the shore of Nome,

Nome, Alaska, is course, is up there toward the top of the state.
