Hey, hi everyone. How are you? I am. My eyes are swollen because it's raining outside. I haven't been

outside. Allergies are absolutely wild it's raining outside. I haven't been outside.

My body responds to any and all change of weather and winter rain is like truly the worst.

Like I wake up with swollen eyes.

It sucks, but such is life. You know, I'm recording early in the day so I can take a nap and not feel

like crap the rest of the day. But guess what? It is time for Operation Santa. Can you believe it?

It is that time of year again. Operation Santa is in full swing. If you do not know about Operation

Santa, first of all, you should follow me

on Instagram at Feathers underscore pod because I've been posting about it a lot over there.

But if you are a new Feathers listener, this is my fourth year. I'm pretty sure. Yes, it's my

fourth year doing Operation Santa, the USPS, the post office, if you will, does this event every year

where they collect all the letters written to Santa and they make them so that you can adopt

them online. They come with like a little QR code so you really only know the names in like

the state that the person is in because you can filter by state, which the first

year I did not do and have families in like California and Texas and all over. But now I filter

to Pennsylvania just to keep shipping costs down because they do charge full amount for shipping,

which means a lot of money has to get put aside for shipping. But it's okay. It's all part of

the game, right? But you get these letters that the kids write.

Oftentimes the parents write them for the kids because the kids are often very little.

Sometimes you can definitely tell the kids wrote them. They're really cute and funny. And of course,
