Today we are going to break down the Arizona desert and rocky,

bighorn sheep draw application and what have you.

I've got Brian Rimsa a good friend of mine you know one

thing that Rimsa has going for him well he's got a lot of things going for

him but one thing that I think is pretty special is Brian Rimsa has

harvested an Arizona desert sheep. He has also harvested a Arizona Rocky Mountain

Bighorn and Brian it's going to be great to have you on the phone to go

through some of these units and go through all the stats you're kind of a numbers

guy like I am first of all how you doing Brian I'm doing good Jay thanks for having me on the

podcast it's always fun to talk about things that I I love and I know you love cheap

and you know I kind of love the numbers aspect of it.

I realize it's a long shot to draw some of these good tags,

but there's a few things you can do to, I believe, increase your odds

and give yourself a better chance of pulling that once in a lifetime tag and hopefully

we can provide some of that information to the listeners and give them a better understanding

of the of the draw on maybe what they're looking at at

at least that's my goal for for this podcast if people a better understanding of

how the system works. Yeah I mean I think it's important because I think there's a lot of people out there that just think oh I'll just apply for sheep tag and they you know they've got less than max points and they throw in for a unit 22 tag and they're like man I haven't drawn in you know 18 years and the reality is they

really have wasted a point or or wasted a year because some of these tags if you don't have you know max points your chances of

drawing them are sometimes zero I mean it's not like 0.001 some some years it's

absolutely zero if all of the tags go in the max point pool you never even
