Pain comes in many shapes and sizes, as do the ways in which we have coped. If the struggle is anxiety, trauma, relational difficulties, depression or struggles with your body or with food, the pain is real and it's worthy of the attention and care needed to help you thrive once more. While you may feel like the only one, you are not and you do not need to face these struggles on your own. Specializing in the treatment of trauma, anxiety and eating disorders, first and foremost, Sarah Pannell is a friend of mine. Sarah is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in both California and in Georgia. Sarah uses an integrated approach to therapy which includes exploring the biological, psychological, social and environmental aspects which are impacting the client or family. Her training in family systems allows Sarah to not only see an individual’s context but the larger picture of family dynamics and societal influences. Sarah has experience working with clients struggling with issues related to anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, depression, mood dysregulation, substance abuse and relationship issues.
