Hello lovely listeners, Jocelyn here with a special announcement before we get into

the day's show. We are accepting submissions for a listener request month.

All through November we'll be doing movies selected by you are lovely and beloved audience.

Please email us at hatelovepodcast at gmail.com with your request for a movie,

as well as an explanation of no longer than a paragraph of why it's hate and love for you.

Now, even if you've emailed us before or sent us a submission either through our website,

Facebook or Twitter, please do it again, just so we can ensure it's top of mind for us

and it doesn't get lost in the shuffle of submissions. From there, we will vet the submissions

ever so slightly just to make sure there isn't a repeat of anything we were planning on talking about.

Then we'll pick 20 movies at random, put them up on Patreon for our patrons to vote on during

September, then we'll choose the top six this year, five for our regular show and one for our

patrons only podcast. Now this means you do need to contribute to our Patreon, but if you give

as little as a dollar you will be able to vote and the voting will start in September,

so you can send us your submissions up until midnight Eastern Standard Time on August 31st.

As a reminder, we can't accept any submissions for TV shows, so please just send us submissions

for movies and we'll also be talking about things we hate and love. So don't submit anything you

can't bear to hear us say anything critical about. One more time, email us at hatelovepodcast

at gmail.com with your request from a movie with a paragraph long explanation of why it's a hate

and love submissions close on August 31st at midnight EST and the voting will occur all few
