0:36.9	system, and most important accountability. Most teams have leaders. A good team can go to the promised land,

0:59.0	with the addiction program turned cult, Senanon.
1:05.0	Charles E. Dieterich was a barely functioning alcoholic who worked in sales in Ohio.
1:12.0	After relocating to Southern California, when his divorce was final in 1956,
1:17.0	he decided to give the popular group Alcoholics Anonymous a genuine effort to try to turn his life around.
1:22.8	This idea came at the insistence of his second wife.
1:26.3	Although she too went on to leave Charles,
1:28.6	the program resonated with him deeply.
1:30.9	He loved the family dynamic of the meetings and the supportive environment.
1:35.5	He got sober and preached the gospel of AA to anyone who would listen.
1:39.6	Alcoholics Anonymous is a 12-step program that was founded in the 1930s. Its members believe
